I've tried it on itunes and windows media..I know the disks are fine, I've tried like 15 that I know are blank and there were like 3 different kinds.. Its worked before but just doesnt now.

open my computer...u can see the cd drive icon there...right click it and click properties...under the recording tab...check the box if it is not check then click apply....

When you boot do you get a message...
primary disk not found
secondary disk not found
press F1 to continue or F2 to enter setup?

If so you got a known bug from an update at MS...you need to do a firmware update for your specific cd model name and number but be sure this is the problem because firmware updates CANNOT be undone and you can screw it all up. If you get that error and are a novice take it to a tech support place. This is not something for the unexperianced user to do.

If you have checked everything and it's still not working then you should check burner
