Yes you get a violation notice from yahoo telling which answer / question was violated. And they deduct 10 pts for each violation.

You usually get an email from them stating your violation. Everyone on here seems to eventually get one for something or other, usually can be seemingly minor or you really haven't considered that you may have done anything wrong. I have had 2 since being on here and those were without trying.

YES, you get an e-mail telling you have just been reported and sometimes for something dumb happens to me a lot i just don't know why :(.

Yep. You'll see, in your inbox, VIOLATION NOTICE. Then they go into detail and tell you about the community guidlelines and whatnot....

Hell yeah...I've got hundreds of them...in fact, I printed all out and wallpapered my $hithouse with them....'violation email'
