I don't know if it can be transformed into matter. But there was an interesting theory presented that the soul weighs 21 grams.
Ever see the movie 21 grams with Sean Penn?
In 1907 a study was carried out by a Haverhill Massachusetts, doctor, Duncan MacDougall. He monitored the weight change in six people at the time of their death and recorded a sudden loss of weight - about 3/4 of an ounce - at the exact moment of their death. And he was able to rule out bowel movements or evaporation as the cause for the sudden weight loss.
Some have speculated it was the weight of a human's soul.
I did say "speculated"
that's all any of us can do...~^~

Let me ask you one question.
Will you ask anybody whether electricity is made up of energy?
I tell you soul itself is an energy. You walk, talk, run ,eat will you be able to do it without energy? similarly if the soul is absent you are nothing other than the body which doesnt have any value. It is like a piece of wire which doesnt belong to the connection of the electricity. If soul isnt there within your body, you dont have any energy right? Then from this we can say that soul itself is an energy. You have millions of cells in the body all of them have energy but you have only one soul within you which has transformed into millions of matters. if the soul isnt present al cells become inactive and they die. That is all is the matter simple, dont complicate it too much (Joke)

The soul is not a thing as much as a concept. It is energy though since it is thoughts and self awareness which is caused by transmissions of energy through the brain. Take away the energy and you take away the soul.

Let's see, a little bit of logic might go a long way in trying to answer your question. ... ASSUMING that souls exist in the first place (and that's a BIG faithful assumption, mind you), we could be at least sure of one thing: Your soul is "somehow" associated with your body and NOT mine or anyone else's for that matter (again assuming that you are NOT possessed, and/or suffering from other such unholy anomalies. lol). In other words, your soul whatever it is, is somehow in contact with your physical/material being, hence logic dictates that the "soul" must share a common liaison/agent of interaction with the material world. Does that then make the hypothetical soul a material entity? Well, perhaps not entirely, but it sure makes it "capable of interacting" with the material world, which in turn makes it plausible that it has something in common with the material universe (notice btw by the material universe I am referring to both matter and energy, if you like, since they are in fact equivalent. Remember that old white-haired guy's E=mc^2 equation? lol). Now, and I am speculating here, could it be that the soul is nothing more than the curvature of, or otherwise, spacetime associated with each one of our physical bodies? Where our souls are but permanent wave-like ripples in the spacetime substrate, which will endure as our own unique gravity waves or quantum-like spacetime structures, way beyond the demise of our physical/ material bodies? In other words, think of our souls as permanent impressions/records in the transfinite spacetime substrate. That by the way, would also be a good argument for extending the Mass/Energy Equivalence, to further include Spacetime. The above hypothesis, of course, may turn out to be nothing but "pure hogwash" at the end, but it sure sounds viable to me at the moment – sort of like M-theory! Now, see what you have done here!!!!! Your simple little question about the soul just united the worlds of science and faith!!! :-)

Maybe Soul is an energy but it is just like electricity that couldn't be turned into matter. Maybe Soul could only be absorbed by matter!

No. It's not. At least not the type of energy your implying. It's not the kind that propells things or helps our bodies. It's the kind of energy that helps us know right from wrong and tells us to keep our morals and modesty. So I'm not sure if the souls of this generation have that energy anymore...

Yes, the soul is made of energy. It is not transformed into matter, rather it inhabits matter. It energizes matter. Electricity is energy. Yet, when it enters a light bulb it does not become the lightbulb, it energizes the light bulb so it can shine.

Energy is another form of matter. The soul would have to be matter. Or, how do you explain the material interacting with the immaterial?

If the soul is made up of energy, then energy is not made up of soul.. or is it really?!

Energy is as much physical as matter is.... soul in my view is metaphysical.... since I believe I am the soul, I would like to think I am not as ordinary or transient or impermanent as anything physical is!!
