ew... yucky question. there is always racism. but if you have to come up with two arguments, see if these have enough spin -
1. our policy of diversity in multiculturalism is 'pluralist'. this means that people are able to keep their ethnic identities, practices, language, culture, without being forced to assimilate, unlike the 'universalist' model of multiculuralism. As division between races has invariably and historically been at the instigation of the state, and our state is not racist, there is no racism. (this hurt to write, and is weak as p1ss).
2. all instances of tension and platforms used by racists have been proven to be based on incorrect data, assumptions, stereotypes, propaganda and myths. therefore there is no racism, only misinformation.
3. (i know, 2 only, but this is the one that makes me most happy because technically it's not a lie)....there can not possibly be racism because 'race' does not exist. there is greater variation WITHIN any given 'race' than 'BETWEEN' said races. it is a construction. qed.

I live in Australia and have done so all my life racism does exist to a degree but mainly because of the middle eastern groups that we have here and the fact that our government has allowed a lot of their beliefs to be put into practise in some of our schools Easter and Xmas in the religious sense is not allowed and anything depicting the birth of Jesus is not allowed as we are told it will offend others I think our government takes this political correctness way to far and so do a lot of others here after all this is Australia and if you come to live here fine but please don't try to push what you want down our throats I believe our children have every right to celebrate the birth of Christ at schools as they always have I'm sure if we went to live in their country and started throwing our weight around telling them what they should and should not do in their schools and else where we would be in a lot of trouble

Racism in Australia has already been in at last one recent paper in the US. In fact, I read as a teen that Australia did not allow black tourists to enter the country. I do not remember the article - I was a teen a long time ago - but even Australia is apparently not remote enough to be racist in secret. Sorry.

I don't really think there’s any country that doesn’t harbor racism. It's most likely a very small percentage of the population that is racist. But I think at least for another one hundred years there will be racism. I don't really no how you can prove something doesn’t exist it’s pretty hard to sell. Proving it does exist is alot easier I haven’t been any help sorry.
