I agree with you. but I like to think of our bodies as a hand puppet, and that our soul is just the hand.

Napoleon was a genius, its so true religion is only a way to control others, just look at history, 95% of emperors etc. had power because they clammed to be sons of gods, and the churches have always been rich, just look a the holy roman empire, the Pope had more power then any king, even more then the roman emperor, even Napoleon used religion to control, even modern day politicians use religion, just open your eyes and look, the truth is scary but its there, its a basic idea, if you are a common person, then your equal, but if you are controlled by a higher power you no longer are common, im an atheist, and i don’t believe in all the religious junk.

the soul is a spiritual entity and thus we are not given the power or right to judge or have access to the place it goes to or its actions. the true answer to such questions differ with each person. perhaps you will only get to know the truth when the time has come for you to be laid to eternal sleep.(do pardon me if this last sentence has offended you in any way.)

I think when we die our souls are placed in an area for safety and locked up. And the soul is only released when another creature is to be born. It's like more on re incarnation.

I will be pleasantly surprised if there is a heaven though

I tend to believe the same thing as well, the soul is eternal unlike the body.

When you die, there is nothing left. All that stuff about being soul and lasting forever is a myth. If you want more information about this myth, go to eckankar.org They take this kind of thinking to the extreme..

I believe I am the soul who would live as inconsistently and unpredictably as this life, even after this physical body is no longer there to serve me.

We are spiritual beings on an earthly journey that takes us back to our spiritual home.
I was dead once for a few minutes. And I was in that bright white light. The feeling of peace was amazing.
That place exists. I was there briefly....

I think you have a very nice delusion. Have you ever considered that you may have to earn that soul you are talking about.
