I was totally hoping he would win, but then after the "injury" thing and the way this match ended I feel sorry for Haas. Your opinions?

Funny how both of them were having physical difficulties, but during the points were able to run like gazelles. I think Murray definitely scraped his knee, and definitely rolled his ankle-- both of which could be seen on screen. I get the feeling he sort of plays up the injuries for effect on the court though-- I like to look at it as his brand of showmanship. Haas also seemed to be engaging in this when he took the injury timeout at 6-5 up...then dinked the serve at 2-3 or so in the tiebreak... every 1st serve Haas hit after that was hard and fast. They both really seem to enjoy letting emotions out on the court, and for that much money, they probably don't mind pushing the boundaries of good sportmanship.

I did not see the match , I just read that Murray won 7-6 in a third set tie breaker against Haas. It must have been a great match. I know Haas has been plagued by injuries and has been healthy for about a year now after knee surgery, and his game is really starting to comeback to form. I checked the usual tennis web sites and did not read anything about an injury to either player , if there was an injury to either player I hope someone posts it correctly, I like both players especially Haas.

Murray overacts his injuries, probably to make his opponents fickle or something. He had exactly done the same thing against Rafael Nadal in their 4th round match in the Australian Open. I do really feel sorry for Haas, I was hoping he would win the tournament.

Nope. He was faking it. He acted like he was injured to sike Haas out and everyone else.

I'm really pissed that he won, but what can you do. I was happy with the way Haas played. Haas played really well last night.

I really don't think they should have a tiebreak in the deciding set. they should just play on normally. to me Haas seemed like the one dominating the last few games of the match so murray just got really lucky there :(

I hope djokovic kicks his ***.

The guy likes to act. He is one of the few male players that come to matches wearing his bag of tricks, just like most female players. He wants to win using any trick he could . He wasn't injured against Haas(i saw the replay), but he pretended to be to get time off & rethink his stratigy , tricks & make has go easy on him. IT WORKED !
I don't like such kind of players. Their place is in Hollywood & not in sport.

What's the big deal with Murray ? I quess the Brit. want bad to think they finally have a winner Brit in tennis. I doubt if he ever make it big in tennis, beside he is the goffiest looking player. I don't know if his head is too small for his body or his body is too big for his head.lol
