I am deaf in one ear and partially deaf in the other so I can comment on this.
I don't think I would miss not hearing at all. It is a blessing to turn my deaf ear on the world and bury the other one in a big pillow. It is so peaceful.

How should I answer this.... even as it is hypothetical, it has an extremely repulsive aura about it..... well, may be losing one of the arms is better than being completely deaf.... but one thing is certain... every little part of our body has an important function to perform except may be one of the kidneys or some other such frills.

i'd rather lose my arm. My fave sounds r kids laughing and the rain on a hard roof...if i lost an arm, i could adapt since i still have the other so i'd still have all my senses. I know some cool people w/ hearing impairments but i bet they'd say the same thing.....

Actually neither. But rationalizing this out one can say if I have to choose, perhaps sound. For having heard sound, it remains in the mind, even the limbs of ones body. One need not hear the music or the dumb to sway or clap to the motion of sound.

Be deaf. At least there are technologies that can provide temporary hearing.

I would much rather lose my right arm because I'm left-handed, for one, so that doesn't matter, and I would probably go insane without music! :)

Uh, neither...
But if I have to choose.... man idk... I couldn't play my guitar or anything. But if I was deaf, I couldn't hear me playing my guitar.... I'd rather have my hearing
