i had my baby in july and had my first period at the end of december. and then feb 4th. i havent had my period since and i know im not pregnant. has anybody had an irregular period after having a kid?

I've got four kids and with my first born I did go through a similar experience.I had no period for over a year,unprotected sex and all.No period for a year and then all of a sudden it came on for one week and went away never returned.Four months later I went to the emergency room with a uti and found out that I was pregnant.After I delivered my period didn't return until my daughter was about a year old. They never said that it was a problem at my doctor visits they only said that it was horomonal so maybe it's not a problem and maybe it is the only way that you will know for sure is to go to a physician and find out what's going on.Good luck!

If you're breast feeding, it can do that.
I've never heard of someone having periods that irregular if they were not breastfeeding so i'm not sure on that part.
