Ok, my uncle insists that there are some sort of CDs that can hold 120 songs and more! He says that they are called "MP3" but as my knowledge there are no such CDs.

Any one knows?

Yes you can fit up to 180 songs on a cd disk , they are called mp3 s ones which you can download of the internet or you can convert you music cds into mp3s or wma format.
If you want to know how to do this do a search on google or yahoo. I have quite a few cd with mp3s on them and i play them in my car and on my computer.

A CD that holds mp3 files instead of CD tracks can have even more songs than that. Only some CD players (and all computers) can read mp3 CDs. A CD with normal CD tracks can be read by any CD player.

mp3 files are much more smaller compared to regular audio cd files. if you burn the mp3 files into a cd, it can hold much more than 120 mp3 format songs. if you use burner such as Nero, you can burn the cd using the data CD format and insert as many mp3 files that you want. but the cd can only be played in mp3 cd players, not the regular audio cd players.

just change the file format...if u have nero..under cd...click mp3...and the songs under mp3 will be burned into the cd...it will not be the audio cd which is only 20 songs...mp3 cd can hold up 120 to 170 songs depending one the size..remember a normal cd can hold 80 minute...which is for audio cd and 700 mb for data or mp3 usage...

Your uncle is correct. If you own an MP3 cd player you can burn a music collection not limited to 120 songs, but rather 700MB worth of MP3's onto a disc and it can be played. Also this holds true for your computer. MP3=DATA

MP3 is a music file. On a CD it tell you that it can hold about 70 min. or 700MB worth of space. I can see a CD holding 120 songs, but it depends on the quality and length of the song,

mp3 is a file format. it can only be played in a cd player that can play mp3 cd's. when you put it into your computer you can play it too, plus it will have all the names of the tracks if your uncle had them labeled that is. sometimes you can fit more than 120 too. its just a regular cd, just different file format.
