I shaved once when I was 13 but I continue to have these hair bumps on my legs and arms even after 7 years. When I try to pick the bumps off, I see the hair, but I obviously can't pick all the bumps because I most likely have thousands. I tried exfoliating and moisturizing, but nothing works. What should I do?

first: shave in the direction your hair grows! if you go the opposite, you'll be more likely to get ingrowns. second, shave hair after showering when they're at their wettest. third, slap on a salicylic acid lotion daily (like Neutrogena Body Clear body lotion). This will exfoliate daily and stop ingrowns from forming.

TendSkin. Google it, it works. You can also make your own by grinding up aspirin and soaking it in rubbing alcohol, again google for DIY tendskin or something like that. You slather it over the area twice a day or so with a soaked cotton ball. Really helps with ingrowns.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

stop shaving, and start waxing, ull get rid of most of the bumps, the few left use needle for them, once ull get used to eaxing ull never shave again, ur skin will look and feel smoother, softner and halthie, it will hurt at the beging but ull not feel a thing later
