How do i get the Microsoft word scrolls to work if i have a laptop?

All of a sudden the scrool on the side of my mouse stopped working. i didn't do anything? how do i fix it?

go to the control panel, look in the mouse section, and check that something hasn't reset the mouse to a default dumb mouse, it might be worth di-installing and re-installing if you are sure you have the mouse drivers handy

new mouse. or do w/o by clickin on pg n the 2 big blk arrows show up n use those. or jus use up n down arrows...yea theres prolly more 2, if u include numlock n such.
