how much are the extras in a movie paid?

Minors are paid $124 for an eight hour day. I'm not sure if the adult rate is the same or higher. They also get paid extra for changing wardrobe and overtime if they work more than 8 hours. The pay is set by the union, even if it is a non-union job.

Unless there is some other form of compensation, no one can work without pay. I took my daughter to one shoot where students of the school being used were included as extras with no pay, but a donation was made to the school for them.

Actually some dont get paid at all,they do it for free.And if some do get paid,its for very little.
