It isn't God who doesn't like Homosexuals - or any sort of people who are 'not like all the others'.
It's people who are afraid that others who are different may somehow make them wrong.
For some real insights into 'the word of God' - that isn't - read the book
"Sins of Scripture" by Shelby Spong.
This is an ex-arch bishop of New Jersey who has taken his decades of Scripture studies and exposed most of the prejudicial lies found in the Bible.
Most educated church people know all this but won't publish it to the 'parishioners'.
The bottom line is: for your health, YOU are responsible. For your spiritual beliefs, YOU are responsible. For your life, YOU are responsible.
You can't pawn any of these off to public opinion, churches, doctors, or anyone else.
Yes, God is real, but IT isn't 'out there somewhere', separated from us 'humans'. GOD is in EVERYTHING and IS EVERYTHING.
The myth of 'separation from God' and needing 'salvation' is man-made and geared to channel you into a church or denomination which will then gather power through numbers.
Don't buy into it. Every snowflake is different. Every snowflake is a PERFECT SNOWFLAKE.
Gays are not "Gays"- they are HUMAN BEINGS with a specific sexual preference.
Being gay is no more 'contagious' than being left-handed is.
Homophobia is based on false teachings and unfounded fears.
Read the book I mentioned. It brought me a lot of confirmation of things I'd suspected long ago.

God created people, but he did not create the hate that spreads throughout homophobic people. I am not religious, and im not sure what the bible has to say about homosexuality. But I do know that all human beings were made to be treated equally, no matter how different we are from one another.

So true and given that, accept for Leviticus, which is the hebrew civil code NOT the law of God, nowhere in the real, Hebrew or Aramaic, Bible does it say God condemns homosexuality.
But don't tell phony Christians, they don't like hearing the truth, just their version of it.
Btw, I am ALL that and a bag of Doritos, Thank You Jesus!! praise the one all, gay loving, God.

If you're really gay as you say, you r behavior is a little bit out of line. Excuse me for saying so. But the Bible has nothing to do with us being gay, lesbian or bisexual.
It's just these darn hypocratical bulshiters, that think that everything in life needs to be answered by citing the bible. But most of all what bugs me about them is their hypocritical behavior and their mannerism. Its horrible in my eyes. I rather by Gay and do good things, than a Believer and be mean to my neighbors
Like I said before: " All these rightous Christian believers, you say one thing and mean the opposite. You say you love every one, but than you say "God hates the sin." God also said:"If you're all free of sin, than you shall cast the first stone." I bet most of all of you're not free of sin. So why brain wash this religious nonsense! It can make people sick just from reading it! Really grow up !

Why did god make anything? I don't like spider crabs that attack me when I swim by them, and yet there they are! Dirty little spider crabs... I
n all seriousness though, I don't believe that people should hate other people- as long as they don't hurt anyone, then let them be. As far as I can tell, God is about loving one another, and treating people as equals. No one asks straight people what they do in the bedroom and no one cares- so why is it alright to judge a gay person like that? IT ISN'T!

Y'know, people use the story of Sodom to say that homosexuality was something God would punish people for....
well, lets look at that....
wasn't the real crime committed rape?
that I could see as an offense
I dont think that God cares who you love, as long as you do.
Oh, and marraige didn't come around for quite sometime after the death of Christ - so dont let that get you either.

Didn't anyone tell you? It's a choice. Ha, sarcasm. People are lame. It's funny how all powerful the Christians have become that they actually question God's creations now. Seems pretty ballsy to me, but what do I know?

OK all you homophobes, God did create us, and it is not a choice. Would you choose to live a lifestyle where people hate you? Duh!! The only real sin to being gay is that we cannot procreate, as told to me by a bishop in the catholic church. How does being gay mean we dont follow his commandments? It doesnt make sense. I am sure you all have broken a commandment or two in your lifetimes. What gives you the right to judge us. Do you talk to god, does he answer. If he does, you need serious mental help. Its called schizophrenia? Yes god is real and SHE created us just as she did all you homphobes.
