Sounds normal to me, but I'd have to do an exam to be sure. I have certainly seen women like you describe.
Increased pigmentation can result from minor irritation, including shaving, which most likely is what has happened to your girlfriend. Still, if you haven't BOTH been to your respective doctors for STD checks, now would be a great time to prove your love by getting checked out!

Well, usually, dark spots are not a symptom of an std, her skin may just be darker in those areas( it usually is down there). be sure to use protection and just ask her, if her skin was always dark like that...

what do the spots look like....is the skin just darker around those areas......or are they dots??? if the skin is darker around the groin area or under her armpits or behind her neck...she should be tested for diabetes. That is a sure tell sign that some one might have diabetes.

Did you chop back your self or some thing like that? If it is in basic terms epidermis inflammation, it is going to look after itself, yet you may watch the area heavily when you consider which you are able to could circulate to a physician. (in the journey that your boyfriend talked you into shaving, then confirm he suffers with you.)

I believe it is normal..just skin pigmentation. might made worse by shaving with a dull razor....have friends that have it. they are also tan skin...they are health people but if it is bothering you talk to a professional skin doctor...
