Mostly the subject is different. Westerners would be more creative about subjects of daily comfort while Indians would prefer something more spiritual.
Indians wouldn't be able to take advantage of as many ideas of other people as the westerners could because westerners have better pooled resources.
Acceptability for the abstract is lesser in India. This in itself has an effect on the creativity of Indians.

The differences lie in the basics, approaches and the end result.

The Indian thought of creativity brings about ever-lasting impact and utility value whereas it is not so with regard to western thought.
