Totally hear ya! I use to work at a 5 star restaurant as a Hostess/Maitre D/Whatever you want to call it, and it drove me crazy when I would hold the door open for guests when they were coming in/leaving and not get "Thank you" from them...I wanted to say "Um, yeah, hi, I know you're a guest and all, but nowhere in my job description does it say I have to hold the door open for Viagra prescribed, middle aged men who are more than capable of opening it for themselves and their 20 year old stripper of a date. So say Thank You when I do!" Sighhhhh.....but I never did.

I'm with you, I hate it when people don't say TY. I don't work outside the home but when I go to the mall or someplace like that and I hold the door or elevator for someone and they don't say TY, I always say TY to them hoping they'll take the hint and yes to be a bit of a smart a**. Strange thing I've noticed it's usually older people (60's +) that you would expect to use manners.

My biggest pet peeve is along the same line as yours. Rude/disrespectful people. Nothing burns my butt more than when you are nice to someone and they don't have the common sense or decency to be nice back!!!

When you wait and hold the door open for someone and they don't say Thank You. When people talk loud on their cell-phones in a public place, just to get attention...

Shallow people. . bar none, hands down, the people who can't see past their Sketchers. People who measure status by wealth instead of substance.
People who have not lived their life but believes the world owes them everything anyway.
Parents who ruthlessly spoil their children robbing them of their character and worth. . . . There is more but I have to breathe.
