It appears that the 5101AWLMi is better on these points :
120GB HDD, Built-in web camera, 5 in 1 card reader, XP Media Center Edition

The A120 is better on these points :
1GB RAM

You could also try using feature comparison tools on various websites, like :

I looked at both of your links, The Acer has a 5 in 1 Card Reader and the Toshiba has not, only a single Card Reader ( If this is important to you ).

I would be more inclined to go with the Acer.
I have a "Older Model " acer that has "Never Been In A Repair / Service Facility".
I worked in a Very Harsh Environment Area with it .
Acer is usually a very reliable product

Best of Luck.

As somebody who owns the two an Acer and a Toshiba, i will assert they function especially plenty further. those you stated have very comparable specs, so there is not any longer quite some a assessment there the two. the only important distinction you will discover is interior the processor.....I ensue to choose the AMD processors over the Celeron. The Celeron could be slower, yet once you're no longer likely to apply it for greater desirable than MS place of work and problem-loose information superhighway, then you do not have a difficulty. i exploit my computers for heavier applications like gaming and different utility, so the Acer provides me greater effective overall performance in that understand. different than that, my merely remark is which you're able to flow to a working laptop or pc shop and attempt out the two, see which one you like. the two are especially comparable, yet there are subtle transformations for which you will possibly be able to choose one over the different. case in point, i like my Acer exhibit screen and keyboard greater effective than the Toshiba one. you will possibly be able to easily like the Toshiba buttons and mousepad greater effective. until you attempt them out, you will pass over out on those small info. in many circumstances those small issues can finally end up making an result on your overall person journey. and ultimately, look on the help provided by making use of the two companies. i'm guessing you reside interior the united kingdom (or alteast Europe) from the links you provided. i'm uncertain what the help is like there. you will choose to choose for a company that has greater effective client help and guarantee. you won't continually want it, yet i've got had to apply the warranties interior the previous (it wasn't for Acer or Toshiba....the two those laptops have not given me themes yet). sturdy success, and happy laptopping!

i would go with the acer because turion is better than celeron. Celeron is a cheap processor. I believe turion is like the centrino which is made for laptops.
