Well it would certainly be much more free!
no more people poking their noses into our bedrooms and private lives, no more greedy bas-tards letting businesses get away with murder, charging whatever they wanted to for basic things like gasoline, no more wars........

The more I think about it, actually, the more I like it!!

One of the bedrocks of America is the ability to have a spirited debate with someone else and be able to walk away from each other with out hating each other. We need to have multiple viewpoints, otherwise why have a freedom of speech?
If we all agreed on the issues, there would be no debate or discussion. So many people look at a debate as a fight to prove that they are right, when we should be looking for an opportunity to discuss with each other and both be looking for the truth.
This is the type of question and the attitude that is destroying the American political landscape and keeping us from having genuine discussions. Instead, we just yell at each other and feel good about how smart our side is and how dumb the other side is.
Sounds like kindergarten all over again. All I need to know I really did learn in kindergarten.

It would be so much worse. Why? Because without conservatives, no one would take a stand for (what's left of) morality. The libs would be free to let abortion and homosexual marriage run amok, not to mention they would have a field day writing laws that invade your privacy and wipe out your freedoms! They would also kowtow to the terrorists by doing the old 'cut and run' tactic from Iraq like they're pushing for right now. Then, the terrorists will come here and attack us again. Our military's defense would be cut, so the terrorists would have a free-for-all over here, seeing the door wide open for more attacks!

I wouldn't say better or worse. Conservatives need to do a couple of things:

1. First of all, everything is NOT in black and white. There are gray areas in life. It is not always all or nothing.

2. Instead of stating people should abstain from sex, they should work, or not have abortions, come up with processes that are realistic. I'm sure people should work, but there should be some jobs out there that will allow people to survive when they work. It's better to be on Welfare because they will get some assistance. There are too many people in the workforce that are not able to survive. Instead of being Pro-Life, be Pro-ACTIVE...

conservatives are almost unavoidable... they are those that support traditions and the way things have always been done... and there is some value in that...

I mean... a society of only liberals... could react rashly and make mistakes that could be catastrophic...

both are a good thing for a good balance... and both have their place and are needed... in the traditional sense of the word conservative and liberal...

Worse; I'd have no one to poke fun at and have no one to poke back at me. It'd be way too boring agreeing with everyone all the time.

worse? Not having differing opinions only makes a world dull and boring

Worse.
Someone has to keep American values alive. Without our core values, we do not have a chance of keeping our freedoms.
The world has and does rely on us, and others like us, to protect and/or help.

Oh! For Heaven's sake!!! How would we know we were Liberals if there was no opposition??? If there isn't someone holding fast to the status quo, how could we know that we were not? (I mean, if all of us were moving forward, that would just be "life", right?)

Sorry...my philosophy minor is getting in the way......

Worse. Much worse. Without conservatives, there would be anarchy followed inevitably by tyranny.
