i have heard of boiling it or putting it in an oven or even in the sun but cold here so thats out but what would be the best way to remove all oils from a bowling ball

If you go to a reputable Pro Shop they will have a inexpensive method they use that shouldn't damage the ball. If you don't want to do that put it on a cookie sheet with edges and bake it for 4 hours at like 250 degrees, you should take out any finger grips when you do this also.

All alcohol does is dry out the cover, it doesn't actually remove the oil and it could ruin a reactive resin cover stock if you use it too often.
