Im earning 4.5% on my money but, I think I could do better. I dont want to lock up my money though. Help me.?

I dont wanna lock my money up for a long period of time. Anyone know some options?

I would go for some mutual funds, etf's or stocks. you can do it online and you can usually get you money out in a few days.

I use sharebuilder.com for etf's and stocks it's cheap for regular monthly investing.

look into the vanguard star fund it's been doing great form me and moderately priced. It's a mutual fund made up of 11 mutual funds so it pretty sound
