How about "Maximum Overdrive" where machines revolt, only in the present, with better special effects? Other ideas? Anything goes, TV whatever...

With all of the new computer technology and special affects abilities , I would like to see some of the old World War Two movies remade like " A Bridge to Far" and "Midway" and " The Longest day". I love true stories especially historical ones and I think they could make those movies much more realistic and detailed today . Do not get me wrong I enjoyed the originals a lot.

Updated version of: "The Grapes of Wrath" is a classic book published in 1939 and written by John Steinbeck, who was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for the Novel and the Nobel Prize for Literature. A celebrated Hollywood film version was made in 1940, starring Henry Fonda and directed by John Ford.

"Wherever they’s a fight so hungry people can eat, I’ll be there. Wherever they’s a cop beatin’ up a guy, I’ll be there. If Casy knowed, why, I’ll be in the way guys yell when they’re mad an’—I’ll be in the way kids laugh when they’re hungry n’ they know supper’s ready. An’ when our folks eat the stuff they raise an’ live in the houses they build—why, I’ll be there. See? God, I’m talkin’ like Casy. Comes of thinkin’ about him so much. Seems like I can see him sometimes."

(Maybe George Clooney for a Tom Joad; but really, Brad Pitt has the soul for the Tom Joad role as well. J/S)

That's a good one (Maximum Overdrive). How about Silver Bullet? Just as long as King does not do it.
