I'm trying to find a Lighthouse on the Pacific Coast that has or has had a Post Office housed in it ? A friend of mine and I have a bet going. I told him that I had heard about a light house that is a US Post Office located somewhere on the Pacific Coast and of course that can include Hawaii too. HELP?

Cape Lookout Lighthouse, North Carolina was once a temporary Post Office.
Yes I know, wrong ocean, wrong coast.

Sorry, I have searched several of California's lighthouses to no avail.

If you want to keep going, this is an amazing site about lighthouses, great photos and great historic information:

I have gone through to Point Pinos.
And there is still Oregon, Washington State and Hawaii.
A lot of searching but it is very interesting reading!
You can pretty well rule out all those situated out on a point a good distance from townships.

Maybe the best help I can give you is the contact link at the bootom of this site.
They are historians and enthusiasts and will know the answer.
You may not need to search through every lighthouse's history after all!
