My son wants one for his birthday for his xbox 360. What are they? How do they work? Cost? Where can I get one???

The EyeToy is a usb camera for the Sony Playstation 2 and not the Xbox. You can play interactive games where the player is watching themself on the screen and they have to move in specific ways to accomplish different tasks (ie. swat planes, excercise, boxing, etc). It retails for around 30-35 dollars.
The Xbox 360 does have a usb camera that you can connect and interact (chat, send pictures, and even put their face in the game) with others while online. I don't think there are any games you can play with it, though.

well, if your talking about an eye toy it is something that you can play games with but then instead of a digital character it projects the player, your son, on the screen. you probably can get one at gamestop.

didn't see one in XBOX though.
