Incase you didn't know.. the netherlands is this AMAZING country, and everything about it is AMAZING. and america is just... america... with bush.

Great question! I like the Dutch. Spent a lot of time in Holland. Amsterdam (obviously), Arnhem, Nijmegen, Maastricht etc. The Dutch seem to have the perfect life. But after a while it becomes a teensy bit dull. I want something to complain about dammit! The Americans on the other hand....some are so nice I want to strangle them to see if they get angry, others I want to strangle just because their mother should have done it when they were born. It's a quandary. USA could and should be the greatest nation on earth. But they seem to be fast losing friends as they are led by people who the rest of the world despises.

I've never been the the Netherlands so I can only rightfully say America.I see where you're coming from though, that's how I felt when I got back from England, there is so much to do there and so much history, where "America is just... America...with bush" but of 'course as boring as it may get here, America has been my families home before columbus and afters Jamestown. Since there was an American military,My family has been in it. And that, I am proud!

You got to be kidding it's like comparing a hambuger to T bones. The Dutch ? My god this is the USA land of the free home of the Brave. My family, my friends have lived and died for this country. People try to get he in boats, sneek in to this country. Please don't ask questions that is so stupid.

Some of us have our roots in this country, going back over 10,000 years. If you think it's alright to sum that up in such an offensive way, fine, but don't be surprised when people give you hell for it. I get SICK of Europeans thinking that only white people make a country's history, and say we don't have a culture when there have been indigenous people living and working here for millenia!
And we're not our President, so that's just ignorant of you right there. I personally despise that man.
