i have a myspace and i get on it everyday it is like addicting and u can talk 2 people and make new friends

You can snoop on people legally and free...myspace is like a public journal. Also, you can stay in touch with old friends, and it's less personal than the phone, myspace rocks dude.

My kid wanted on myspace because other kids were on it. I found out the minimum age is 14, so I banned it from the PC. Social sites are popular becuase kids are social sponges, wanting to connect with other sponges... Like a singles bar, but with even less honesty... I as an adult see it as ultimately just another waste of time, energy, and brain cells. However, my kid wants on it to make a cheesy page with ridiculous graphics and music... Like an attitude image they want to project to others...

Umm, a legal stalking device? My aunt got me on it, and I wasn't all that impressed at first, until I found my exbf. I now check his page about once a month to see what's going on in his life. It has actually helped me immensely because he was moving from state to state and quitting his jobs constantly to avoid paying child support, and now everytime his location changes or he posts about a new job I can notify our caseworker. Dumb reason to use MySpace? Maybe so.

Its not the perfect thing in the world, but it helps keep friends close.
Also you can stalk and spy on people as long as they are your friend or they aren't private.
You can design your own space in your own way and you can add up to 300 pictures.
Its just a website to connect people and its fun to use
