do you think if people realized how many people are dying because of drug use that maybe they would stop using or maybe they wouldnt start? i am not talking about movie stars either regular people are dying because of all the drugs oxycotin,vicadin,meth,and so many others.dont you think if it wasnt sugar coated and romanticized people would realize drugs kill plain and simple.just dont ever start and if you do drugs quit now!?

I think obituaries should just tell the truth anyway. Like if someone was mean all of their lives, it should say so. The people at the funeral already know it anyway.

That's not the appropriate time to preach against drug use. Everyone who attend the funeral will already know how that person died, so there is no need to demonize the person that has passed. use you time to volunteer w/ youth and preach anti drug banter.

No. The only purpose that would serve is making people thinking ill of the dead. Do you think any of the tobacco anti tobacco commercials have gotten people to rethink smoking? No

If pamphlets, photos, and other types of information not deter them why would an obituary. People that do drugs know that it kills, you find me an addict that thinks it won't and I will humbly apologize.

You know, that is a good idea. I wonder how many people would get it, though, as I'm not sure how many people read the obits.
