I am trying to join the Fighters Guild, but I am too 'Bad'. My Fame is 56 and Infamy is 106.

P.S. The reason my Infamy is that high is because I like to kill and steal. I have figued out that the Grey Crowl is the best thing to use for this, as it increases my stealth (already a Master of) as well as strength. I know i need to not do these things without it. I just need a 'Get-Good-Quick' scheme.

Thanx!

Yikes. Well, are you a member of the mages guild, and have you done all their quests? Those are, to my knowledge, all add fame. Have you started the main quest? That adds fame, and once you have a half million oblivion gates all over you can close those for more fame. They can be done more quickly if you enchant yourself an outfit with 100% chameleon. Doing the random little town based quests adds fame too.

Otherwise, I know it costs like $10, but you can download the knights of nine mod- it adds a sidequest which begins at the chapel in anvil, and you can visit shrines in the wild and completely get rid of all infamy. I liked the nights of nine - it was a good series of quests.

Also, for future references, because I can only imagine a few ways that someone could gather that much infamy - do the thieves guild before you do the dark brotherhood, then, when you are doing the dark brotherhood quests, wear the final item you receive from the thieves guild (but be careful in towns, because that's an immediate guard attractor right there), that way all infamy you get will attach itself to that item, and not to you.

*spoiler?* wear the cowl of the gray fox (or mask or hood or whatever it's called) - it starts out with an infamy of 100, and any quests you do with it on add the infamy or fame to the mask itself, not to your actual character.
