have difficutly telling people you like that band?

I find it so hard to tell anyone in person I really like this current band. Online no problem but in person its a different story.

Not really. I love RnB and Hip Hop. But the few bands that I like that are not RnB or Hip Hop are Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, and Panic of the Disco.

Not at all! If I find such a band thats great, it usually prompts me to look for other similar bands or artists. Why limit yourself to just a few genres of music

Nope. I will tell you that not only do I love Janis Joplin, the Beatles, Elvis Presley and Concrete Blonde.. I also completely adore Dolly Parton, Vanity 6, and Violent Femmes. Color me awful...

No not at all. On the contrary I usually ask my friends who have all different types of favorite music genres if they own a CD of the band so I can burn it before I buy it. You like what you like .

Why would you feel embarrassed about having different tastes in music? theres nothing wrong with enjoying all kinds of music.most of my friends are into hip hop,while I'm into everything from classic rock to soul to corridos whats the problem?

I'm always straight up with everyone about my tastes in music. There is no "best genre" of music and there is no "worst genre", its all an opinion.
