My ex, Chris, isn't too fond of my best friend, JJ. A month ago I heard that he was saying some rude stuff about JJ, and JJ is like my brother, so I got really mad. I told Chris that JJ was a really great guy and stuff like that, and JJ was going through some really hard times right now. Chris said, "Oh, yes, JJ's a great guy" and all this stuff. The next week, he starts this rumor going around that JJ had sex with 4 girls... and both JJ and I are strong Christians so we really don't like that, and he's lost frienships over the rumor. I confronted Chris today and totally told him off, but he's still going along with this horrible rumor he started. What in the world do I do?
Right now JJ's parents are getting ready to divorce and they sent him to live with his Grandma because his parents were fighting so much that it was ruining him. He just got out of a bad relationship where the girl cheated on him.
As for Chris, He's bipolar... BIG time. That's why I broke up with him

well chris does seem bipolar, why he showing it all on jj only you know. he really knows your weak spots and hes messing with them. try not to even be friends with chris it seems like hes only hurting you after you told him off =[ hope it turns out better

Why are you still talking to your ex? Don't you see that when you "totally tell him off", you are giving him the attention he craves? Cut off all contact with him now.
