Who sings the origenal song (My Sweet Lord) from the 70's ???

George Harrison sang My Sweet Lord. However, he lost a lawsuit from the Shirelles over it. He was accused of plagiarizing their hit "He's so fine." If you listen to the two songs, they're pretty close. As much as I like George Harrison, it's hard not to think he plagiarized it.
