I have used water with bleach to take out that pesky pink stain from tomato sauce.

I prefer ceramic dishes to plastic as the plastic develops scratches and often looks dingy no matter what you do.

well if they are clear try putting part bleech and part water over nite it does the trick on most of the tuper ware and dishes

I've found that once tomato stains are micro-ed in, they are pretty much set. If you come up anything orther than that, let me know.
