I was working in an old wearhouse the other day and came across some boxes of books that were being thrown away.Among them was a book titled"Hitchcocks Complete Analysis of The Bible".It is copywrited original 1858 does any one know anything about this book? It is not in the greatest of shape after all its almost 150,but still pretty good considering.......

Go to http//:www.abebooks.com and search for it there. It's a group of used and out of print book dealers from all over the US with some foreign dealers thrown in for good measure.

I did a search and found several people who have copies, though I didn't find an 1858-- found a couple of 1868 and a number of 1871 editions, but I didn't go through the whole listing. Each entry describes the book and condition, so you find things to look for-- gilt, color of binding, that sort of thing. Prices I saw ranged from about $10 to $200, but the latter was in excellent condition.
