does anyone know how long it takes for the glasspack to start to work...dont you have to give it a few days to open up then you start to notice the sound....cause i dont have really any change in sound...im running a universal flexpipe to it....so i was hoping there would be more of a sound to it but there isnt yet.

I would say it would take about 100 miles running at normal temps to get to its designed sound, probably less. Once the funny smell goes away, it should be broken in fairly well. If you have any piping after the glasspack, its going to muffle the sound even more, possibly to the point where you wont notice much of a difference depending on how much piping is after the muffler.

The fiberglass inside burns out and then they get loud, they were always a little too loud for my tastes. You wind up drawing too much attention. Mr. Officer will notice them and then he wants to talk to you, he may also have a few questions about the can of beer between your legs too. They'll get loud before you know it. If you want to help them out take a long trip on the interstate and get the engine hot.

i have a 1999 grand prix gt with superflow mufflers there loud and sound like a flowmaster 40 series. not sure if 1994 had a ubend and resonator if they do should take them off. ubend robs your car 10-15hp and resonator is to quiet your car down.
