Does taking a prenatal vitamin helps increases your chances of getting pregnant?

It depends. If you are not very healthy, a multivitamin CAN increase your fertility within 6 months for about 10% of those who are having difficulty ttc. Exercise, eating right, and losing weight if you are overweight can help if you do not have a structural abnormality (such as 1 ovary, or an inverted uterus, etc). If you have pcos or are just not ovulating every month, it is possible that a prenatal vitamin can help.

The better your health is the better chance you have of getting pregnant. The prenatal vitamin doesn't increase your chances of getting pregnant, but it does help prevent birth defects once you become pregnant.

Not specifically. But it's vital to the healthy development of a fetus once you are pregnant. Especially the folic acid.

It helps to prevent deformities but not helping you get pregnant. After I miscarried my Dr told me to stay on mine so I would be in good shape when I got PG again. Hope that helps. Good Luck.
