Now there are a few shallow parallel scratches. The scratches are white... possibly from the concrete. what is the best way to get them off? I've heard brake fluid will do the trick but isnt that bad for paint?

DO NOT use brake fluid. It eats paint in a major hurry! Use a good auto polish and rub it in well in a circular pattern over the scratches, then buff. If the scratch does not go all the way to the primer, you should have some good results.

Good luck.
