Okay, first I am going to a little community college in the middle of nowhere I have gone to a BIG university so I know how papers are supposed to be written. I am a 4.0 student and I work hard. Now I am taking a simple Biology 1 class with lab and we had to write a paper on a disease. I wrote in on lyme disease. Now a teacher told we had to write about 8 certain things. I did but because I didn't want it to sound like a book report I melded them together so it SOUNDED LIKE A PAPER. I sent my rough draft in because we're supposed to and he didn't even read my paper instead he told me to put running heads at each of the 8 sections but since I didn't spilt my 8 sections up really its going to be hard! And once I did this he would read my paper more CRITICALLY! But, the paper is due Tuesday this week so he won't get to the paper till monday which leaves me no time to edit?! What should I do? I feel like I have to rewrite the whole paper!

He's probably doing that so he can mark them easier. Write your 8 points down first. You should be able to quickly go through the paper and pull out what goes under each header. Especially if you wrote it on your computer it can be a relatively simple cut and paste job. The only real editing will need to be the sections that wove your points together. Good luck!

I think you have no other choice, especially since you are a 4.0 student. Rework it buddy, spend the whole week-end on your paper!
