and wre going on a boat called 'The Californian' and i am a bit scared cuz we have 2 sleep on the boat and i hear itz got some rats, what should i do??? im afraid 1 will bite be or climb on top of me when im asleep and ill get rabies or some kindof diseas, but i really want 2 go on the trip, so what can i do??

im sure you'll be fine. I don't think they let rats stay on the boat for too long

Whoever told you that has succeeded in scaring you over nothing. Don't worry about it. There are no rats on the Californian. The boat has to pass so many inspections and is so well maintained that I am sure there are none on board.

Hey listen. Somebody was having fun with you. I have been sailing in the Navy for 5 years and have never seen a rat. Also, rats, are more scared of you then you are them, afterall you are a couple of hundred times bigger than them, even if one was on board it would avoid human contact at all costs. You have nothhing to worry about.

rats don't attack humans they attack the kitchen food bags like flour and cheese. So don't be too worried besides the rats prefer the bottom of the ship not the berthing areas where you will be. Also I would doubt the rat problem Even exist as health inspectors would have to inspect the vessel regularly to ensure it is safe for human habitation.

Get a Harts flea and tick collar and put them around your wrists and ankles.
That will keep the rats away.
