I need to add an analogue noise for a communication experiment.

I need to pass a signal through a circuit to model the communication system. Then i also need to add some noise to the circuit. Probably by using an opamp to add the real signal and the noise together. But i'm not sure about constructing the noise circuit. What can produce an analogue noise/ noise signal?

Need more information like what language you are using. Where you expect to monitor a signal from output card, serial status bit, parallel port, standalone micro controller.

Sound can be generated by toggling a bit on/off at an audible frequency. If you need sound from a PC speaker you can play Wav files. There are numerous possibilities......
