What color is your carpet and what color is the wax????

Just to get the was out....
Put down some paper towel on the wax.
Next get out your iron, get it warm, but not too hot.

Run the iron over the paper towel, but don't leave it on for too long, just enough that the wax melts and absorbs into the paper towel.
Watch it closely..pay attention.

If you have color from the wax still on the rug.
ie..red wax white carpet.
Try spot cleaner for rugs.

That should de the trick..most of the time it does.
