Me, I think of the trees and lakes that cover more than half the province. (I have relatives near Prince Albert, so I have actually been there.)
As comedian Lorne Ellott said, driving across Saskatchewan and saying it's flat is like taking the subway across Toronto and saying it's dark. Ya gotta look around.
Saskatchewan is actually a very interesting and quirkily charming place, much like southwest Ontario or Nova Scotia. You obviously have never been off of the Trans-Canada Highway.

Good question fellow Canadian. When I think of Saskatchewan I remember some of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen, the almost never ending wheat fields with the occasional grain elevator (an the sexy cowboys that go along with the whole image!). Gorgeous lakes and rivers, and beautiful forests. it is almost as pretty as Ontario, but not quite! lol (but then again everywhere in our phenomenal country is beautiful and gorgeous in it's own way.)

When I hear that name I always think of that big monster..... Big Foot. But then I remember Saskatchewan is the Canadian province that has Winnipeg as the capital. Apart from that it does not affect my life in any way, shape or form.

I see a province west of Ontario. I think of: home of the Roughriders, farmland and wheat, "Runnin back to Saskatoon", Moose Jaw, Louis Riel, Little Mosque on the Prairie and Corner Gas, they never change the time.....

Sasquatch running in thru the trees, snow mountains in the background, tall trees, whispering winds, and the trickling of icey spring waters.
