I agree with Yaya. I liked those commercials, and I would get that "Dude, you're getting a Dell" line stuck in my head. If Dell hadn't made a big deal and dropped him, not a lot of people would know what happened. That was a few years ago, and I can't remember 1 Dell commercial since then. Stupid them. Maybe that's why I have an HP.

I agree with “sparks”.It isn't about one gender winning or that one is better than the other, but about equality. I think that TV ads are sexist: car commercials are oriented towards men, home depot, money issues, but just like there is sexism against boys, there is sexism against girls. Cooking and cleaning products are aimed at women, or beauty commercials show a women, and at one point there will be a man telling her she is pretty or something, almost as if the women is only being pretty for a man. I think there are very few commercials that are 100% equal to both genders. And just like there is sexism and insults towards men, there are also some for women.

Hey, dude, you're getting a cell! Benjamin Curtis, the 22-year-old actor who portrays "Steven," the Dell Guy, in those bothersome computer commercials, was arrested late last night (2/9) on a marijuana possession charge, The Smoking Gun has learned. According to police, Curtis was nabbed after cops spotted him buying a "small bag of marijuana" from a dealer on Manhattan's Lower East Side (at Ludlow and Rivington for you Gothamites). Curtis, who lives in lower Manhattan, was charged with criminal possession of marijuana, while Omar Mendez, the 19-year-old alleged dealer, faces drug sale and possession charges.
From The Smoking Gun. Doesn't elaborate further, but you could try to find him on a celebrity search engine like NNDB.

All the accounts so far are true. I liked the commercials and I liked the Dell Dude. America is SO unforgiving. Now had that been Martha Stewart ....

You are very correct.Too bad,b/c he was a powerful spokes man for Dell. That goes to show that even people with money and contracts could lose it all in a stupid moment. It is like I have always said,"most people are only a pay check away from being homeless".I bet he felt stupid when he was caught.HUMMMMM wonder which homeless shelter he's at???
