Demons do exist, but believe me, Buffy made them look like angels. They are VERY real and VERY dangerous. Have you ever gotten a creepy feeling? Felt those hairs on the back of our your neck stand up? That is them. I know from personal experience!!!!! I have seen them, and it was not a fun experience at all.

Physically, no. But in our imaginations, they can be exceedingly real.
Religion relies on the occasional case in which imaginary phenomena seem to become real to some people, either through suggestion, mental illness, or coincidence. Buffy's writers did the same thing.

i find your question really interesting.. i believe such thing as what you called "demons" depends upon your belief.
Since I'm a catholic, we do believe on such kinds. and since I'm from a rather conservative and belief-ful country, Philippines, yes we believe on such monsterous existence, although lots of people here no longer believe they exist, that they are just minds undending trick. but lots of happenings around the globe had not been able to explain by science, and if you do lots of research, and really dig into your question then you'll probably find the right answer.
