You will get so much more back if you spend the money on a day of luxury for her. Depending on the money, if you have little cash, you can use your imagination to make the day really amazing, much more than the ring or watch. If you have a lot to spend, it still work in your favor and hers to make an amazing day, plus you get to enjoy it too. The memory in her head beats the ring or watch any day.

Definitely the ring. It means more than a watch does. If my boyfriend got me a watch, I would definitely want a ring more.

A beautiful jade or gemstone necklace is better. Few people notice rings and watches. If they do, they often don't get a good glimpse at it because the hands are never stationary for long. But a beautiful necklace on a beautiful neck, along with a beautiful evening dress, with matching earrings, now that is class.

It's harder to pick out watches for other people because you don't know what type of faces they like/dislike, and she probably already has one she's used to and likes to wear. A ring from a guy is always a good gift.

it depends, how long have you been going out with her and which one costs more. Also consider how many rings she has and how many watches she has, also do you know if she likes rings or watches better etc.
