I have a Unilock brick driveway. It was applied over 24 inches of rock, then crushed rock, and then sand- (all compacted in intervals by a professional.) Why would various patches of brick appear to look wet while other areas are completely dry- even days after in had rained? Could water from the surrounding area (neighbor's property) be traveling towards the deep crushed rock? (Driveway isn't sealed- but are some pavers more poreous than others?)

You will somehow need to provide several drain pipes to the bottom of that hole of crushed rock and sand. Right at the bottom. What has happened is that hole has filled with water and drains slowly probably into clay soil below.

I had a regular brick drive laid in circle patterns onto a bed of compacted rock and screeenings the total at least 2 feet. That hole filled with water and it looked like my drive was being flooded out I had to hire a company to run 6 drains from that bottom of the hole to the hill side and GONE is the water problem. I have clay soil below and a topping of Marl to boot.
