The answer is yes. Hitler and the Nazis used the gas chambers to murder Jews, homosexuals, people with mental and physical disabilities, political prisoners, etc etc. Basically anyone who did not fit into his idea of an ideal society.

yes in some cases but not always.
Most Lesbians were seen as "fixable" and were sent for re-education.
gay men for the most part were imprisoned and many were tortured.
Before ww2 Germany was actually very accepting of homosexuals and the officer corp of the Germany army had a long history of institutionalized homosexuality. the original head of the SA was he himself Homosexual.
