Whats wrong with adopting our kids here in the states? They need parents too!!!! Some one tell me a good reason for this.

A million dollar question - for publicity perhaps? A kid from the states will not have that kind of news value.

There is a backlog for adopting children here in the states and probably it is easier to adopt 'foreign' kids. From the way she treats them, she seems to genuinely care for them. As long as that holds true, I say good for her. There are more foreign kids dying from diseases and hunger than there are here in the states. May God Bless U and her.

i guess since she goes to poor countries and see so many orphans with no parents, she felt like she could care for them. some of these countries where she goes, the government doesn't give enough fund to take care of the kids and so they live in crowded rooms and don't get proper medical care or individual attention. here in the states kids may go to foster care or be placed in an orphange and the government does follow up on their whereabouts; meaning the kids have to attend school and on their conditions. In third world countries these kids end up on the streets by the time they are teens.

1. She is worried that US babies are from alcoholic moms or are crackbabies. This includes white kids because stupid people will think I just mean black kids. More white dumb women drink and smoke crack in my home town than the blacks you racist biggots!

3. It's cheaper. Just like many other products, Chinese can make babies cheaper than they can here...
4. The legal fees are cheaper in China and third world countries.
5. It's secretly to brainwash the babies to be spies against the country that didn't want them.
6. It's just another excuse for a vacation.

I agree with the other members, it is easy and faster to adopt in another country than in USA; if she's doing it because she really means it good for her, if she's doing it for publicity (like madonna) then I don't know, she's doing wrong probably.
