People identify with realness and authenticity in others. You can always sense when a person is being fake. (I'm not saying you're fake but your friend probably perceives you as unrelateable because you are always nice and polite rather than real and human) You should never sacrifice who you are for someone else and I think it is important that I explicitly say that. I believe that if you show more of your personality, flaws, feelings towards things (likes dislikes annoyances etc.) she will begin to relate to you more.

As for being more talkative, this is more difficult. I cannot tell you how to be more talkative, what to be more talkative about, or when to be more talkative. I would just persuade you to be more open with your thoughts to her. Laugh loud when you like a joke. Smile big when you see your friend down the hall. Scream loud when something startles you. You are alive so prove it!

Then they aren't really a friend. A friend doesn't expect you to change for them, nor does a friend dump you after 2 weeks. Stay civil and say hello but don't persue the friendship beyond that unless they intiate it. You are better off with out the person if that is how they treat people.

It's OK. U should not change your personality just because someone wants u to do so. continue to be nice, smart and polite and perhaps u will make other friends.

well she is stupid if she says that..nice, smart , polite? I always thought those qualitites are good? hmm.. maybe she wants a backstabber, and a kiss azz for a friend? hmm..well what should you do? Don't sweat it.. you dont have to hang out with her all the time nor talk to her..but if you happen to just be civil thats all. Just don't go out of your way.

some people don't want a nice person, but if this is who you are don't change. you will find a friend who will want to be with you because you are nice.

forget about her she is not worth your time. A real friend will want to hang out with you because you are yourself and not try to make u into somebody you are not.

This doesnt sound like a friend...you are who you are and be proud of that...there are a lot of people that are to chatty and talk too much, so look at it that way.
