If it is a 120 volt no not really maybe 5-10 dollars a month, Why is it running all the time? is water being pumped all the time? if so why? The level could be stuck.

Actually a motor on running constantly uses less power than a motor that starts and stops every couple of minutes. Assuming that you actually need it to be running that often it really doesn't cost that much

your sensor switch is bad!! it should only run when there is water to drain out,, sounds like your sensor is shorted causing it to run like BAMBI
