Anyone have any guesses on what year america will fall? It will one day. All the great ones fall. Rome, egypt, babylon, the greeks, soviet union. America is next on the list, and dont blame bush...he can only take about 10% of the blame. America has been falling since the early 80s and im surprised we've lasted this long. Im pretty sure america will fall hard by 2020...2030 at the latest unless they find a new alternative energy source besides oil. At the worlds current comsumption, the world will be completely out of oil in 20 years. What happens to a country that is completely dependant on oil when it runs out? It will colapse.

Corezink...america fell when reagan did all that spending to defeat the soviets. He knew their economy was fragile and decided to outspend them. If he never spent all that money, our ecomony would not almost be ready to go BK. The soviets would be fighting their own war then with the mid-east and sharing the expense of the war. If america falls in 20 years, you cant give 100% blame to that current president unless you are a 100% moron

America has fallen many times before, but, it has always had its citizens to fall back on or a country that has been occupied to build revenue from.
The United States knows oil will be gone very soon and this is why Americans are in Iraq; to get the oil and prepare America for the future.
America has fallen in terms of allies. Not many people fancy America like back when Kennedy was president. Everyone hates us, thats why 9/11 happened, thats why we see our flag burned even in our own country!
We have fallen as a nation, divided, just like on the back of our currency. "United we stand, divided we fall." In my opinion either way, United we fall.

Silly question. Power comes and wanes. Britian was a power once, as was india, china, etc ... and they are still here. The US will not likely be the only superpower forever; China and India are becoming stronger. The US may rebound and be powerful, or become a has been for a few years. Who knows? The only thing that is certain is the world will look different in 20 years. If the US is no longer the power, we should not be too surprised; nor should we if it is. But even if it is, it will be politically, socially, and economically different from what you see today.
So in a way of looking at it, whomever is in power will fall in any given generation.

The American empire will fall as the Athenian and Roman empires fell ,when control of foreign empires becomes more important than taking care of domestic needs.
When Athens was stable and maintained sound currency they produced Socrates. But then they veered off into the domination of the Delian league.
Rome got busy dominating vast foreign regions while neglecting their own people's needs, keeping the people entertained with bread and circuses (can you say free television and food stamps?)
The only hope for American survival is to bring home all our troops from all foreign countries, and commit our resources to taking care of domestic needs, which, Lord help us, are many.

America will never fall, there are 37 American nations for all of them to fall at once is highly unlikely.
Think you mean the United States not America, they are not the same thing.
You see, there is no such a thing as ‘American’ nationality, America is not a nation America is a continent with many nations in it. The US never named itself the name of the United States is a designation it comes from the end of the Declaration of Independence, "WE, therefore, the Representatives of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, in GENERAL CONGRESS, Assembled...". The preamble to the U.S. Constitution reiterated the phrase: "We the People of the United States..." (The authors of these two documents probably used the phrase "united states" in place of a list of colonies/states because they remained uncertain at the time of drafting which colonies/states would sign off on the sentiments therein.) The geographic term "America" specifies the states' home on the American continent.
I should add that in neither document does it say "we name this country xyz"

Did you know that the USA has enough shale oil reserves to meet current US demand level for 120 years? I bet you did not. You say world oil supplies will run out in 20 years? I say what is your source? Or are you trading oil futures and trying to drive up the price?

Bible states it will happen just before the second coming, meaning we will close to start WW-III we will have the power to destroy the earth he will come about a minute before that, it is soon but a few for things must happen first. They will happen rapidly when they do.
