I've recently transfered all the things from my old iTunes account on my dad's laptop to my own computer, and have had troubles authorizing things. It tells me that my old iTunes account does not exist though I know it does. I cannot authorize my computer to play songs I purchased with that account nor transfer them to my iPod. Do iTunes accounts expire?

iTune accounts don't expire unless you manually expire them. How and what exactly did you transfer?
